Reflectix® Insulation is a standard edge, double-reflective diber-free duct insulation that consists of:
Just 5/16-inch thick, this seven-layer insulation is resistant to bacteria, mold, and moisture, and may quality for Energy Star tax credits when installed in the home. It is recommended for applications such as:
- Two outer layers of aluminum foil to reflect 97% of radiant heat
- Two inner layers of insulating bubbles to resist conductive heat
- Center layer of polyethylene to ensure maintenance-free durability
